There is still one Wal-Mart in the world that does not export anything, it’s in Bejing! With-out China to provide the bulk of thier inventory, Wal-mart would be screwed. That gives China great leverage in dealing with Wal-Mart.
Wal-Mart doesn’t like unions, they’ve closed Canadian stores that have unionized. Recently the Chicago City Council approved a "Living Wage" law that would require Wal-Mart to pay thier employees a minimum of $10.00 an hour. Wal-Marts response was that they may move out of the city and just serve surrounding communities.
I don’t like Wal-Mart’s way of doing business but I have to admit that I shop there because I can not afford to pay more elsewhere.

I have noticed that at http://www.bokrin.com there are marketing/advertising job offers. I am not sure how you would apply for it, maybe just send email and they will inform you what you need to do. If they ask you to send money before starting jobs, it probably would be scam

With the glut of cookbooks on the market,the key to a succesful book is originality. Either look towards very unique,but easy recipes that people will want to try, or create yourself as a brand.Like rachel ray, or Martha stewart. Yes, a talk show would help and I have some ideas in that regrd that I would speak to yu about privately. but good for you, keep thinking and scheming and trying and you will have success.

More to the point, how can free market capitalism be blamed for the current economic crisis when there is some much government intervention? We don’t and have not had a free market. It took government legislation and a central bank protected by the government from transparency and accountability to create this mess.
Liberals believe that government is the solution.
Conservatives believe that government is the problem.

If i want to display a hoplink on my website to promote other companies am i subject to fees? Do i get charged for someone clicking on the advert? I am of the opinion that it is just if you do google adwords that you ppc. it’s all a bit confusing. Thank you in advance.
No charge to you whatsoever.
Anyone who shows up on your website and clicks any link will not cost you anything. It’s getting them there that can cost the money, and is one reason you might choose to use PPC.
Also, if you have Adsense ads running on your website you will actually get paid (just a little) each time someone clicks them.

For a web 2.0 company I’m working for I need to recommend a social network platform to create an application for. There is Facebook and OpenSocial. For which platform would you develop an app first? What are the key factors? We are a Swiss-based startup with a strong market share in Switzerland and Germany.
I’ve never used OpenSocial, but I assume it’s better because Google made it and it’s more open.
That said, I would suggest Facebook because I use it.
