I know RSS feeds are used for blogging, and newsletters to receive updated dynamic information. Pertaining to E-commerce, a site that allows an electronic transaction for a good or service, or marketing the good/service, how would an RSS be useful?
Or does anyone know e-commerce sites that have RSS feeds?
Thanks for your help!
I can't see RSS being using for an e-commerce site, unless it is used for news, articles, etc.

How can I make a make a forward button on my email marketing forward a copy of the message in the email I send to a client. The message will be made in “Dreamweaver” and the code is put into windows mail. What would be the best way to do this.
Depends on whether you want to use client-side or server-side to do this.

I own a small business and work out of my home. I sell a service, not a product and would like some good reading material on sales and marketing.
Anything from Stephen Schiffman, Zig Zigler, OG Mandigo (The Greatest Salesman in the World), Selling to VITO, Susanne Roane (How to Work a Room) and Dale Carnegie (How to win friends and influence people).
PS the process is the same, regardless of what you sell. Spend more time on discovering/revealing the need than closing. Schiffman will spell this out for you.

I heard that 16-year-old boy wonder Harrison Gervitz (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zhqmBpKNtU) (he has a AMEX blackcard) Made money using search engine marketing. How can you make money using SEM? (I’m not intrested in promoting my own website). Do you promote things for people or something?
SEM is a long process. People will catch you on how interesting your write ups as well as how often you are updated.

Call me crazy, but I think that myspace.com is simply a massive marketing scheme. At this point it is owned by News Corp. News Corp. is one of 6 huge corporations (the others are Viacom, NBC, Disney, Sony, and of course AOL Time Warner) that own nearly all media outlets in the U.S. including almost all major newspapers, record companies, radio stations, television channels, publishing companies, etc. (check out http://www.cjr.org/tools/owners/new… for more info). Anyway, these "Big 6" Corporations dropped from 10 to 6 in less than a decade, and seem to be narrowing down even more. Many people using myspace.com don't realize who owns. If users display all of th music, films, tv shows, etc. that they enjoy as well as posting pictures to display how they like to be portrayed to the rest of th world, don't you think this is a fool-proof marketing tool for News Corp?
well they don't make money directly from the website. that's the natur of marketing, really.
Of course, the only reason for any corporation is to make money. What did you think, they were just giving millions of dollars away for the fun of it? They sell advertising and market research and anything else if they could.
I place my web site on the source space because I give all of my opinions based upon my experience and the site is a culmination of those experiences. Does that invalidate those experiences because I want people to go to my web site? Not at all. I can't do good things if I don't have money to do them. That is one of the little evil truths in this world. Do good in the system. It isn't always necessary to break the system.

I need to come up with an action plan to market a website, similar to Facebook but revolving around business. I just wanted to get different perspectives and maybe bounce some ideas. Thanks!
Do what others do - use free ad sites like http://www.sellit-right.com - great one I know and http://www.classifieds.com
Put url on google and yahoo.
Yes still use services like Bebo and tell others by word of mouth.

Does anyone earn from affiliate marketing without a website and through PPC services like Adwords and Yahoo search marketing, etc? How did you start?
You need to do a lot of "homework" and research before spending money on PPC to drive traffic to affiliate merchants.
If you're thinking about buying a "program" that some promoter is selling, think twice.
I've written an article explaining why most people do NOT make money from this strategy. See http://www.MarkWelch.com/affiliate-arbitrage.htm (no ads, just advice).
A good place to research affiliate marketing is ABestWeb (http://www.ABestWeb.com/) which is a community of affiliates and merchants — don't post there until you've spent at least 10 hours searching and reading old discussions.

and why are they called viral videos
The term viral video refers to video clip content which gains widespread popularity through the process of Internet sharing, typically through email or IM messages, blogs and other media sharing websites. Viral videos are often humorous in nature and may range from televised comedy sketches such as Saturday Night Live's Lazy Sunday to unintentionally released amateur video clips like Star Wars kid, the Numa Numa song, The Dancing Cadet, and The Evolution of Dance.
